International Touring & Press
Narcissism and its effects on emotional health is a cross cultural conversation as
it presents in leadership, workplace, relationships, and family. It can feel isolating and impossible to find peace with a narcissistic parent, boss, spouse, or friend. Lisa's hope is to give a voice for change in the way we approach our self-care and self preservation, to connect international audiences, and to meet with potential collaborators to bring the show to Broadway. Rave Reviews From The Audience
"It is impossible to not be touched by this profoundly moving musical journey of freedom from narcissistic abuse to self love and acceptance. The score is Disney-worthy with such a strong humanistic message of survival, empathy and love with a universally positive and hopeful ending. And in this life, where relationship outcomes such as those with our parents and intimate partners are uncertain, this is more than we can hope for. Five out of Five STARS!"
~ Angela Nansera
"Sobering and soul bearing with all original music skillfully performed, Lisa Pezik describes her journey from growing up with her mother’s narcissistic personality through healing in a bold and skillful performance. She embodies multiple characters based on her life and experience (along with a couple of fantasy ones that live in her brain). As both a psychotherapist and singer, I especially admire her courage and truth in dealing with her life publicly through theater. Her voice is clear as a bell and all the original songs are quite lovely. This close up and personal show could be equally liberating and healing for anyone dealing with any number of issues from family trauma to bulimia and more. But don’t worry about being bummed out. It is also funny and the ending is momentous and uplifting. "
~ Dr. Suzanne Boucher
"Impressive delivery and a very thought provoking theme. Well worth seeing."
~ Neil Speight
"What a wonderful life affirming show. Can I give it six out of five stars? Lisa invites us in to see her life, warts and all. And it’s a rollercoaster. We go into the dark, desperate crevices of shame and manipulation. Then we rise to the highs of loving ourselves. Lisa does this through great story telling, engaging characters, and songs that made me want to join her on stage. Bravo! Such a feel good event. "
~ Susan Enderle
"Lisa’s show is a testament to tenacity meeting talent and amplifying that voice inside that surmounts all adversity because creativity really is our salvation! Lisa is a powerful performer and her songs come from a core of confidence. So inspiring and healing for all!"
~ Lisa Verlo
"An amazingly energetic and emotionally sincere performance. The original music was reminiscent of the pop-rock I love from the 2000’s with catchy hooks and flawless storytelling. Lisa brought us on a candid journey with humanity and humor. Absolutely loved it!"
~ Gregory Friberg
"Oh my goodness! This was hilarious and so creative. We loved the music and songs. We didn’t know the songs were original to the show until afterwards and that blew our minds! The artist has an incredible singing voice and we felt very moved. Having one actor play so many parts actually worked so well. We were really impressed that she could switch so convincingly between such different parts. At the funny points we felt uncomfortable and guilty for laughing but I think this was a part of the shows charm. We also felt very educated and not overwhelmed by the horror of narcissism. Luna you are so sweet and we just wanted to give you such a big hug. FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! (Yes I was shouting that! :)"
~ Esther and Ed Benning
"An absolute must see! What an incredibly moving performance that truly touched my heart. I'm in awe of your strength, courage and determination to share your story in such a creative and impactful way. Many will find this relatable and will realize, they too can heal from their traumatic experiences and make positive changes for themselves. Thanks for making a difference by shining your light and spreading your love."
"Tonight I sat centre stage centre theatre and LOVED every minute of your show, Lisa ❤️ I laughed. I cried. I felt your story. I'm proud of you and your triumphs. Keep living your dreams, Lisa! Thank you for sharing them with us."
"I was blown away by this performance. Every character was so distinct, there was no question when one character ended and another began. I laughed so hard and also fought back tears during this performance. The songs and acting were Broadway level and this is a show that needs to be seen on a huge stage. Well done!! You addressed some really heavy themes with grace and love❤️"
"Since seeing your performance, I have told every single person I encounter that it is a “not to be missed” performance. I even texted a few friends I haven’t been in contact with in months just because I knew they shouldn’t miss it! I can’t even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the show… I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The brilliant and sometimes subtle ways you alert the audience to a character change was mesmerizing… the transitions were incredible… the performance was so flawless… your timing SO exceptional… that I was certain you had performed the play countless times. I was gobsmacked when you told us in the parking lot that what we had just witnessed was only your seventh performance. You hit ALL of your goals; made me laugh, made me think and made me feel something deep. From my heart BACK to yours… thank you for sharing such a personal story… but also for sharing your incredible talent and brilliant creativity."
"Flawless performance- Funny and moving."
"I laughed.I cried. A definite must see! Looking forward to the soundtrack."
"A brave and authentic performance"

"Go see this! Lisa takes you on an emotional roller coaster... AND she can really sing!"
"An incredible talent and amazing story of healing. A must see!"
Incredibly well done. Would highly recommend!
It really is baffling how the world tries to keep us small. Like that ‘Gopher Game’ in carnivals where you take a mallet and bonk peeking heads of gophers back in their holes. Lisa’s dueling personalities, ‘Warrioress’ and ‘Shame’ are in all of us as we grow and develop to discover who we are. Most of us can relate to the narcissistic parent whom we can never get approval from. Lisa is more than triple threat! Playwright, Acting, Song writer, Singing, AND Dancing? She needs a bigger theatre!
A very brave, honest and inspiring show. Our parents that are supposed to be our guiding lights do not always come properly equipped with the life tools we need to help us solve our problems, and when their toxic behavior is in fact at the root of many of our problems, it can be quite a journey to overcome them. This show takes us on that journey, and shows us the light at the end of the tunnel!
"I loved EVERYTHING. OMG! Her movements were precise. Her characters were well-defined. Her story was well-paced and since it was about her personal journey to self-love, I thought Lisa really nailed highlighting the exact right parts to get her story across. No moment felt wasted or extraneous. The whole show was so polished and powerful. This story is sure to touch many, many hearts. If you need a self-love pick-me-up, THIS SHOW IS FOR YOU. You will leave feeling beautiful and empowered! BONNIE"
