Using storytelling principles in branding has been a big strategy for a few years now. Does this agency use these principles themselves?

Find out how the agency stays up to date. Do they send their staff on training courses? Do they partner with Google to maintain certifications?

A good agency will be able to detail their plans for staying current.

This is a big question and they won't be able to give you a detailed answer in a preliminary chat. Their answer will show how much research they've done on your company or brand.
